The House of Green, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, engages and communicates with communities in order to encourage residents and business owners to embrace environmental friendly lifestyle alternatives as a solution for sustainability. We provide workshops and information for individual consumer green investments that will create a better environment for today and in the future. Additionally, we support social and environmental movements and social injustice, which deals with the inequitable environmental disadvantages such as racism, women and classism.
We believe in building community power for low-income, disadvanatage and the community to achieve basic human rights to clean air, clean, clean land, public space, a trash free community, and have access to fair-trade products. We connect residents and business owners for green investments for green lifestyle in order to sustain a healthy and strong community. Overall, encouraging and enhancing community awareness of "green business/services" in the community.
We work to aid and assist community members/residents identify environmental community challenges, identify solutions, and empower residents to make personal consumer choices to minimize impact on the planet.
